Bought this motorcycle from a friend of mine that wanted to get rid of it, as he had too many bikes. It was in pieces, since he bought it as a damaged bike and fixed it’s forks. We put it back together after we had revised the carbs, and then it ran, only for a little while.

The oil was all white, full of moisture. And the battery died. Off to a great start. We pretty much Limped it back to my home with a 30 minute ride.
After changing it’s oil 3 times to get the moisture out, it runs great! Only thing is it doesn’t idle well, only on choke, and then its RPM’s obviously go towards 3-4k when its warm. So, only thing left to do before next season (it’s winter 2024 at the time of writing) is to change the idle jets and/or tune the carb.
The oil in question is seen in the picture, this was the first time draining it.

Here you can see how damaged the bodywork actually is, but that of course doesn’t keep it from working properly, its just ugly.

And what a difference some water and a towel makes.
