A Yamaha Mint, this one was discovered and bought by my girlfriend at the time. We bought it together because it was cute, as decoration but also for fun little drives. I remember it costing about €400, which we split among us. When we broke up the scooter went to her, as she enjoyed it more and had spent more time on it.

When we bought it, it ran. It found its place in our living room.
Then after some time it started being a bit of a pain in the arse. Somehow it wouldn't run properly, only with very specific treatment of the throttle and choke. Turns out, the carburettor's needle jet was broken, like actually damaged. Time went by, and at some point she found a guy that knows a lot about the mints and has multiple of them. He has some spare carburettors and parts.

The mint gets fixed, and driven to her side job she had at the time. I also rode it to my workshop once, it took a short hour to get there on that thing, I liked it. It would reach up to about 50~60 km/h (the changed carb allowed for this) even though it was registred as a 25km/h scooter. (Read more about dutch scooter rules here)
