My first motorcycle. Bought it for €400,- and assume the clock has been round already (it can only read 99.999km max, and I bought it with 13.000km on the clock or something?)
Bought some new tires, put in an LED resistor thingy for the blinkers that weren’t blinking, tensioned the chain and ever since that’s about all I’ve had to do with it. (Okay, 2 years later I changed the oil, oil- and air filter. I’ve bought spark plugs but still haven’t installed them…. oops)
It’s honestly always push to start and it works. The thing is battered and beaten, but it runs good. The aftermarket cheap exhaust a previous owner put on it is okay. The sound is interesting and it makes the fuel mixture a bit too rich when it’s warm, so it will have pops and bangs on deceleration.
When I got it, It was more than enough. An A2 motorcycle. This one was limited from the factory to have the max of xx amount of horsepower. It’s not limited anymore as far as I can tell, which makes it have a little bit over the legal limit for that category of motorcycles.
At first the power was plenty, even intimidating to go full throttle. Nowadays I pretty much always have my throttle wide open. (ofcourse, within legal speed limits ;) )
